Kenya Kids announces a historic moment.

For the first time in the history of our program, we have a student accepted to medical school. James Kaingu Safari has been accepted to Kenya Methodist University to pursue a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree.

James has been a sponsored student with Kenya Kids since grade six. Watching a child grow from a primary school student into a future physician is exactly why this program exists.

He earned excellent grades in high school and in college. He then attended Kenya Medical Training College for three years, where he received his Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery. That diploma is what opened the door to the next step: a full medical degree.
